Our Story: How We Got Our Start

Our founder, Danny, spent summers as a cabana boy in Laguna Beach. Years later, he noticed that you had to pay a premium to get high-quality towels. So, he founded Laguna Beach Textile Co. with the mission of bringing classic California style and premium, resort-quality to every home and beach.

Each piece in the collection is hand-picked and sourced from around the world—from Turkey to Pakistan to Mexico. We don't necessarily look for the fastest, cheapest, or even trendiest of manufacturers, we look for the best quality.

Microfiber Beach Towel: 50% thicker, softer, and more absorbent than the standard beach towel. Made with premium microfiber.

Mexican Blanket: Woven by a small family business of artisans in Tlaxcala, Mexico. A versatile addition to an active lifestyle, perfect as a beach wrap, picnic blanket, yoga accessory, or throw blanket.

Supima Bath Towel: Made of extra-long-staple Supima cotton, thicker and softer than the average bath towel.

Picnic Blanket: Fleece blanket with a waterproof bottom. Comes with a custom carrying sack with an adjustable shoulder strap and small pocket.

Our Soft and Durable Mexican Blankets

Handwoven by a small family of craftsmen in Tlaxcala, Mexico, and designed with a classic California style. Made of a cotton, polyester, and acrylic blend that provides maximum durability while maintaining softness. Yarn-dyed for long-lasting, vibrant color, perfect for indoor or outdoor use. Dimensions: 70" x 48", woven of 50% acrylic, 40% polyester, 10% cotton.
